Chak De India to Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam: Filmmaker Hansal Mehta ranks Shah Rukh Khan’s best to worst film

Shah Rukh Khan owns multiple cult classic romantic films in his acting career. The 1994 hit rom-com Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa has recently completed 29 years of its release. SRK penned a heartfelt note on the 29th anniversary of the Kundan Shah directorial, while The Scam fame filmmaker Hansal Mehta shared a special social media post on the occasional and also unveiled the best and worst film of the Bollywood star according to him.

Mehta retweeted a post by one of the Twitter handles that asked the netizens to pen Shah Rukh’s worst, best, underrated and overrated films according to them. The full tweet reads, “Shah Rukh Khan Best Film – Chak De India Worst Film – Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam

On the other hand, the Badshah of Bollywood shared a special note on social media about his character named Sunil in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa as well as remembered the cast and crew of the rom-com flick and the director Kundan Shah.

The Instagram post reads, “At that stage…in that age…..raw….uncontrolled….craft still undefined….surrounded by the best cast and crew in India and a director who I miss every day! Taught me that sometimes u lose the moment….but win everything else…I am sure somewhere, some world Sunil did too!! (sic).”

Shah Rukh is currently celebrating the success of his comeback film Pathaan which garnered immense love and praise from all around the globe. Meanwhile, the Bollywood superstar is also gearing up for Atlee-directed Jawan, which stars him in a dual role and Raj Kumar Hirani’s Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu along with his special appearance in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3.
